Taste of what is to come!

As you can tell I am not fishing in MN with the fighting belt on!  I am in Islamorada FL fishing Tarpon, Swordfish, Snapper, Sharks, Tuna, and the list goes on.  Last night I hooked into my first Tarpon, fought it for a bit, watched it jump, and then lost it.  From the look we got, it looked like a 150 plus class Tarpon.  This morning we headed 42 miles out on a Swordfish adventure.  I will be back on tomorrow with more pics and more on the swordfish day! :)  Until then, Fish On!

Joe Ringus, a friend, and fishing partner of mine was able to put this nice muskie in the boat on Lake Minnetonka.  The fish measured 46" and was very healthy.

 

I'm Back!

After a busy 4th of July holiday week, and a business trip to Shreveport LA I have finally settled back in at home.  I will be on the water this weekend and will be fishing the Denny's Super 30 on Monday.  Below you will see some pictures from some fun fishing trips over the last few weeks.  

Jason Berg and I hit Waconia up one evening and whack'd the fish pretty good.  We had numbers of fish over 3, numerous over 4, and a few over 5. 

Amy and I also got to spend an evening on Waconia here a few weeks ago and caught a few walleyes, bass, and sunnies.  Enjoyed every minute on the water with this girl, she is a comedian!  Here she is posing with one of her giant bluegills, she thought it would be fun to pet it.
