Yes, I Have Been On The Water

When the chance came up to fish a bass tournament with my roommate Scott and his brother Rob I couldn't pass it up.  Scott is dealer for Northern Wholesale so he was invited to fish in there annual bass tournament on Lake Minnetonka.  Being the in house bass fisherman I was his obvious choice for a partner for the day.  We had a great day on the water; as you can see from the pictures we boated many nice bass.  We finished the day with five bass for 14 1/2 pounds and finished 10th.  Not bad for having been out of town for almost three weeks.

Forrest Wood Cup

I am down in Hot Springs AR for the Forrest Wood Cup.  Jason Berg is standing next to a few of the rides that will be on the water.  2 million dollars will be awarded this weekend at the world championship of bass fishing.  1st place will walk away with 1 million dollars. 

A Full Limit, Bugs Galore

Day two of the mini season rewarded us with a full limit (30) of Spiny Lobster.  Scott was also able to shoot three Hog Fish with his spear.

27 Bugs

Spiny lobster (bugs) mini season officially kicked off this morning and we were at it early this morning.  As you can see we had a great first day of season.  Our limit was 30 and we came in with 27.

This was my gear that allowed me to live in the under water world long enough to catch many bugs.  The diving was great, the weather was great, and the fishing was great.  A day that I will never forget.  I am having issues with my internet connection so I will get more up as soon as possible.  Fish On!
