Chasing Tail

The ice conditions on Lake Waconia and Lake Minnetonka continue to get better with this cold air that has settled in.

Grabbed my Clam Nanook Thermal and the wheeler and headed out on Waconia in search of walleye.  Had a good 6 plus inches of ice on most of Waconia which allowed me to set-up 2 wheel house sleepers on Lake Waconia.  Minnetonka is still lagging a bit on the ice growth.  It has some areas with 4-5" and many areas with only an inch or two.

The fish did not cooperate on this particular evening, but I am not giving up yet.  I will be back out on the ice tomorrow in search of more "tail".  Until next time, stretch the string-Fish On!
