Mille Lacs is a success

Headed to Mille Lacs on Friday with Tony, Gunnar, and Joe for a day trip.  The ice conditions were great on Mille Lacs.  Found most of the lake to have about 10" of ice on it.  The areas under the drifts and snow were a bit less, probably about 7".  Also they did not get hit with the huge snow storm that the cities received.  The wind has kept much of the snow blown off the lake and the ice.  

This fish was one of 11 we caught in about an hour.  The fishing was not easy and we did a lot of moving looking for active feeders.  Once we found an area where the fish were biting, we were able to put the hurt'n on them.
