Chasing Lizards On Tonka

Tony and I got out to one of our favorite walleye holes on Minnetonka and were able to catch a few small walleyes.

Big M-Not sure what the conditions are on Buffalo but I can tell you that the ice on tonka and Waconia is a mess. It is very slushy, wet, and crusty in some areas. There are areas under the snow drifts that are just 4-6" of standing water that will not freeze due to the snow "blanket" that is on the ice now. Waconia still has 6" of good ice or better on much of the lake, but a few areas are still a bit thinner. I have heard Buffalo has good ice but I am sure it will be pretty gross getting around out there. Hope that helps.
