More Hits Than Google!!

Was joined yesterday by Glen Perkins and his father in law for a day of bass fishing on Lake Waconia.  We had a career day.  The weather was great and so was the bite.  We fished many spots before we found the mother load, but when we found the mother load you could catch one on every cast.  We did catch fish at every spot we went to.  Most of our fish came on either a jig worm, or a texas rigged worm in about 10-12 feet of water.  Our best 5 would have gone about 22-23 pounds.  We finished the day with over 50 nice bass.

These were two of the bigger bass that Glen was able to put in the boat yesterday.  They were wrist breakers!  The bait of choice all day was a Outkast 1/8 oz money jig tipped with a 5" big bite trick stick.  Thanks for the great day on the water fellas!

MN Twins Bass Classic

This This is a look into the recent MN Twins Bass Classic out of Maynards on Lake Minnetonka. Kent Hrbek is the host and mc of the tourney. My fishing partner for the day was twins player Glen Perkins. Glen did a great job and was a pleasure to have in the boat. We struggled to get a ton of bites but we did end up weighing 5 fish for 10lbs. It was a great day on the water for a good cause. We raised lots of monay for ALS.

Waconia Shows It's Power

I was recently joined by Gunnar and Jeremy for a day of bass fishing on my home water, Lake Waconia.  We set out in search of a few giants that swim in Lake Waconia.  As you can see we came across some real nice fish, many over 3.  We probably caught 30 fish over 3 lbs, 6 over 4, and 3 over 5 lbs!  Thanks for the great day on the water fellas.

All these fish were caught flipping the milfoil with either a tube jig or a 3/4 oz jig.
