Lanier Shows Its Power

 

As you can see I have started to settle into my new body of water.  I have only been here for 2 days (1 day lost to tropical storm Ida) and already my boat has seen lots of action.  The surface bite for both stripers and spots has been a blast. 

As you have already noticed, my good friend Peter Dunlap is pictured above.  He rode down with me for my move to Lake Lanier.  Big thank you to him for all his help and efforts.      

 The spot action is getting better each day.  They are a ton of fun to catch.  A lot like a smallmouth with largemouth colors.....another words they are so strong they will attempt to pull your arm off.  I will report back tomorrow with more info and more pics.  Wiped out after a long day on the water.  Fish On! Or as Gunnar would say.....stretch the string!
