Tim puts a giant in the boat

Hit the water with Tim Stevenson for a morning of muskie and chunk'n and we only made it about 15 minutes and 10 casts and he was doing battle with a giant I had been after for about a week.  I had this fish attempt to eat numerous times on previous trips but it just never came to the boat.  As I was telling the fellas about the 2 good ones that had been occupying the area we were fishing-WHAM!  Tim was hooked up with the bigger one of the two.  This fish came in at 51" and was no slouch on the girth either.  I didn't take a girth measurement because I wanted to get her back in the water.  She was a "swine" as Travis Frank would say.

I think I was excited as Tim was to catch his personal best.  I was just glad that this fish finally was in the boat for a few pictures.  Congrats on a great fish Tim!  For those of you who are wondering if they are biting yet, or if it is time to book a trip.....yes I have a little deal figured out and have been getting around a bunch of nice skies.  Hopefully they continue to come in the boat at a fast pace.  The previous week or two had a lot of fish eating, just not coming in the boat.  They can be crafty little devils when it comes to throwing giant treble hooks.
