Thrift doing what he does

Bryan Thrift did not win Angler Of The Year because of luck or chance...no sr. Yes I agree he might be a lucky guy, but Bryan can down right catch'em every where he goes. He is as good of angler at breaking down a body of water as any person I have ever shared a boat with. I got to spend much of this year fishing with him and also pre-fished with him a bit for the upcoming Forrest Wood Cup here on Lake Lanier. I have learned a lot from Bryan and appreciate all he has done to help me grow as an angler. Here is a short clip of him catching a spot that goes almost 3lb's on my favorite bait that I got to teach him how to fish.....maybe. Not sure if I can teach Bryan much of anything he doesn't already know...that is what scares me. This is the caliber of competition out here on tour-when you get to the top!

Bryan had a great showing and finish at the Forrest Wood Cup.  Congrats on the 10th place finish bud!  He utilized a few of the techniques we practiced together to get himself a top 10.  The drop shot was a key element in this event.
