What a fall

The unbelievable weather that we have been having has allowed many
extra fishing outings this fall. After going to Rushford,
Minnesota this weekend to shoot deer and having great weather but only
fair hunting, I had to get out fishing. Yesterday afternoon I
headed out on Waconia with Peter Bilecki and Bill Miller to chase a few
largemouth bass and walleyes at dark. The walleye bite was
non-existent but the largemouth bass had other ideas, and we were fortunate enough to land a few.
With ice fishing right around the corner and a lot to do at the shop, I will probably not have too many more outings on the open water. I look forward to this winter and hope I have a chance to get many of you out on the ice.
