Back at it tomorrow

Chasing the elusive muskie tomorrow morning on Minnetonka.  Bill Miller, Bill Walburg, Tim Stevenson, and myself will be on the water by 6:30 with hopes of landing a few giants.  If our luck goes as planned we will have pictures up tomorrow afternoon.

No dice!  Totally bummed.  Two hook-ups and once again nothing to show for it.  One of the two was a true giant (over 50") but both were able to find ways to throw the bait.  Arhh, so frustrating, but it will keep me coming back for more. 

Muskies here we come!

Headed out tomorrow on Minnetonka in search of the elusive muskie.  My brother Dave and brother-in-law Elmer and I will be on the water by 6 a.m. and I will report back with pictures and stories as soon as I am back on the main land.  Until then Fish On!

No Muskies, but my brother was able to land a few nice largemouth bass.  We did however see some dandy muskies.  I had a high 40" fish on but lost it boat side.  Regardless it was a beautiful day on the water with my brother Dave and brother-in-law Elmer.

Chateau On The Lake on top of the hill in background.  This was a very nice place to stay.  I can not say enough about how friendly and helpful the people were.  Picture taken from the dam.

Johnny Morris's Big Cedar Lodge.  We had to pay a visit to the floating Bass Pro Shops.  This resort was absolutely beautiful.  I would have to say this was the most amazing resort I have ever visited.  Lots of honeymooners.  Didn't realize that Branson, MO was such a vacation spot.

Table Rock

Headed to Branson, MO early tomorrow morning for work and play.  We are going to be staying at the wonderful Chateau On The Lake on Table Rock Lake.  If everything goes as planned we will catch lots of big largemouths.  I will be meeting and fishing with Zell Rowland, Jay Yelas, Mark Davis, and Alton Jones.  I will hopefully be able to update the website with pictures while I am on the trip.  Otherwise check back next week when I get home and I will have lots of stories and photos.  Fish On!
