Matt I'm one of your brother Jimmies friend I just like checking out your web site hoping one day I'l be standing next to you fishing. Keep up the good work.
Just too much fun! Thanks, so much, for all your efforts and "welcoming spirit" in guiding and taking such good care of Virgil and I. What an experience! As Virgil put it, "an experience of a lifetime"! Virgil and I were smiling and chuckling all the way back to Victoria as we spoke about our day on Lake Minnetonka with our "new" fishing comrades Bill and Matt.
"Smiling and chuckling" -- that's always a good sign after a couple friends "Fish On"!
Hey Matt! Wow, it has been almost a year since you were up in Fort Frances at the Bass Tournament, and what a weekend that was! Are you heading up our way again this year? By looking at your site, it seems like you have had some good fishing since then and you definately know your stuff! We hope to see you again this summer! Take care! Looking forward to having another great tourney experience...
Matt, you are the best!! There aren't many people out there who are as passionate, energetic, caring, and fun as you! You definitely know your fish and how to show a person a good time on a lake! Keep up the good work, and try not to freeze out there in that cold weather!! Your website looks great!
Hi All, Matt rocks. He's an excellent guide and a great guy. Matt delivered on what he promised; to get us in front of some big Muskie. We had several hits in just one morning. Too bad we were too lame to land these big fish. Matt knows Muskie! Frank Vascellaro WCCO News
I have to admit you made a believer out of me about the walleyes in Lake Waconia. I had an absolute blast catching those fish with you. I had never gone fishing with a guide service but will be a repeat customer in the not-so distant future. You run a great service my friend! By the way that 27 inch fish is not a sheephead. Thanks Again!
This weekend on Red was a whole new realm of FISH ON! There was tons of fish caught and even more brain cells fried. I can't even put into words the experiences we had this weekend (still trying to put some of the pieces together). It was a perfect mix of yen and yang. To all the old friends and to a few new ones, I say thanks for the memories and as always spreading the "Bubba Love".
PS Todd, I think we finally came up with our user friendly bubba cot. Time to apply for that patent!!
What a weekend! Matt, Todd, DJ, Phil, Mark, Andy, and I had a hell of a time catching those Red Lake slabs (it was good to have you there Jim to net them, YOU ROCK). I learned the meaning of the phrase "FISH ON, FISH ON". Matt is as fun as he is intense when it comes to fishing. I hang out with him for a couple of days and I am surprised with what I learned (some of it about fishing). With BUBBA at the helm on Saturday, Matt got even smarter (although I swear he has a hollow leg)! It was hard to tell if Matt or Bubba was guiding that day and no one cared; great times had by all!! I don't think Westwinds will ever be the same without us. Matt is a fantastic cook. Give him a fry pan, oil, breading, and a plastic fork and I would put him up against Emeril Lagasse anytime, BAM! I've had and cooked a lot of good fish in my life and this was the tops. Matt can guide, cook, clean fish, and he's good looking; makes DJ wish he was gay (sorry DJ keep looking). To all on this trip, thanks for the memories, I love you all! We have to do this again in Feb/Mar. Peace, Theo.
P.S. Joni great talking to you. And to Todd, call me I have some great design ideas for a new "Bubba Friendly" cot.
